Is the love of modernism genetic?
Perhaps so, since I am currently on the hunt for the PH 4/3 or the PH5 lamp for over my grandmother's kitchen table. She likes the clean look of Scandinavian design, and fell in love with this lamp. This is the first step in remodeling her cute little house outside of Portland, Oregon.
My trade discount doesn't put this lamp in her price range, but it comes up on ebay often. The majority of auctions are based out of Denmark, and shipping costs put these auctions over budget. So I am waiting for the ideal auction to come along.
