Omigoodness, life can be nuts.

Although I've been planning on applying to textile design graduate programs, and taking a break from working in design firms, I was still working up to the application process. Well, no more of that!

I was probably the most cheerful person my bosses had to tell they were laid off (relatively of course - I wasn't shaking their hands or dancing). I've been expecting this for months since the economy started rushing downhill, and especially since I was spending more time working in the library. I am going to miss working on the private jet terminal, and working with some very knowledgeable people - but I need a more creative environment.
Of course, I am aiming at more creative lifestyle with a little more excitement and variety - my life has been way too quiet lately.

Here's to getting on with it - life with more art and heart, and finding new challenges to take on.
